Colonoscopy & Endoscopic Diagnostic Services
Safe and comfortable colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures for early cancer detection, polyp removal, and accurate digestive health diagnosis in Singapore.

What Is a Colonoscopy?
A colonoscopy is a safe and effective procedure used to examine the inner lining of the large intestine (colon and rectum). Using a flexible camera, our colorectal specialist can detect polyps, inflammation, bleeding, or other abnormalities that may not be visible on scans or X-rays.
Why You May Need One
A colonoscopy may be recommended if you experience:
Unexplained pain
Unexplained abdominal pain or bloating.
Rectal Bleeding
Rectal bleeding or blood in your stool
Diarrhoea
Persistent diarrhoea or constipation.
Family History
A family history of colorectal cancer or polyps.
It is also an important screening tool for early detection of colorectal cancer.

What To Expect
Before the procedure, you will receive clear instructions on diet and bowel preparation. The colonoscopy is performed under light sedation to ensure comfort and typically takes about 30 minutes.
If polyps or suspicious tissue are found, they can often be removed during the same procedure and sent for laboratory testing — reducing the need for repeat examinations.

After The Procedure
Most patients can go home on the same day and resume normal activities within 24 hours. Our team will explain your results clearly and arrange any necessary follow-up care.
Many patients feel relieved and reassured knowing their digestive health has been thoroughly assessed.

What is an Endoscopy?
An upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy examines the oesophagus, stomach, and duodenum. It helps diagnose conditions such as:
- Persistent heartburn or acid reflux
- Stomach pain, nausea, or bloating
- Upper gastrointestinal bleeding
Like colonoscopy, endoscopy is performed under sedation and usually takes less than an hour. Patients can return home the same day.

When to See a Doctor
You should consider seeing a specialist if you experience:
- Ongoing abdominal pain or bloating.
- Persistent reflux, nausea or vomiting.
Early evaluation allows for accurate diagnosis and timely treatment.
